Ultimate 2 Wireless
Record the Ultimate Software V2 profile and zero-deadzone setting before comparing stick measurements.
CONNECTION & TESTING GUIDE
Test 8BitDo Ultimate and Pro controllers while keeping connection modes, button labels and saved settings in context.
Connect with USB or Bluetooth, focus this page and press a controller button.
Choose a model for setup notes. This does not change your inputs or identify hardware automatically.
Layout illustration only. The button grid shows the actual inputs received.
This describes the input exposed by your browser. Firmware and remapping software can already apply deadzones. These readings do not certify hardware condition.
Indices are shown as reported by the browser. Unknown layouts are not assigned stick or trigger names.
Waiting for controller input.
Connect a controller to begin.
Saved only when you choose, in this browser. Compare readings taken under the same conditions.
The Ultimate name covers multiple controllers. Ultimate Bluetooth, Ultimate 2.4G and Ultimate 2 Wireless are not interchangeable names or identical platform profiles. Check the label on the controller or its packaging first.
For the original Ultimate Bluetooth model, the manufacturer documents XInput on PC through its receiver or USB. Ultimate 2.4G has an X/D input-mode switch. Pro 2 has its own platform-mode switch; select the mode appropriate for the connected computer.
Pro 3 adds swappable ABXY buttons and a trigger mode switch. Ultimate 2C Wireless documents Windows use through USB or 2.4 GHz, with Bluetooth for Android. Check the physical label arrangement as well as the selected software mapping.
MODEL NOTES
Record the Ultimate Software V2 profile and zero-deadzone setting before comparing stick measurements.
Use the exact platform connection documented for Pro 3. Record trigger mode and the physically fitted ABXY button layout.
Windows uses USB or the 2.4 GHz receiver; Bluetooth is documented for Android. Extra bumper assignments can mirror existing inputs.
Original model: PC XInput is documented through USB or the included receiver. Do not assume Bluetooth exposes the same mode.
Check its X/D input-mode switch and keep that setting consistent across test sessions.
Choose the appropriate platform mode. Rear P1/P2 assignments may mirror existing buttons.
Ultimate Software profiles can affect assignments and response. Ultimate 2 Wireless also has a documented zero-deadzone setting. A very still centre may reflect configuration, while a more sensitive profile can expose small movements previously hidden.
Rear P1/P2 controls can be mapped to other buttons. They do not need to appear as new browser indices. Nintendo and Xbox face-button labels also differ; changing the visual label set here does not rewrite the controller’s mapping.
If motion is configured to emulate a stick, moving the controller can produce stick values. This is not a separate gyroscope measurement. Put the controller down for a resting-stick test and note any motion-to-stick configuration.
Check one variable at a time. For unwanted stick movement, release the sticks onto a stable surface and run the ten-second resting test. For a missing action, compare a direct button press with its rear-button assignment. Save a note identifying the active profile so a later result can be reproduced.
The browser-reported device name can describe a virtual gamepad. The optional model reference is your selection, not automatic hardware identification. Brand listing does not guarantee vibration, independent paddles or vendor-specific controls in your browser.
