Use USB data or supported Bluetooth. Touchpad click may appear; touch positions and adaptive triggers are outside this test.
Record the active controller profile and rear-button assignments before comparing readings. The illustration represents a DualSense layout.
A remapper can expose a virtual Xbox device as well as the physical controller. Select the input path you want to test.
Use the connection supported by your exact generation. A standard mapping provides A/B/X/Y labels and LT/RT values.
Note the Xbox Accessories profile, paddle assignments and trigger-stop position. A paddle may mirror an existing button.
Record the installed accessories and profile. The Core package differs in included accessories; test the controls fitted to your controller.
Nintendo lettering differs from Xbox. Digital ZL/ZR readings need not produce intermediate analog values.
Current Xbox/PC family: record fitted rear buttons, trigger actuation and Synapse profile. Browser sampling cannot verify an 8K specification.
Wired member of the V4 range. Use its own setup instructions and record trigger and rear-control assignments.
Use its supported PC USB or wireless receiver connection. Note trigger-stop and rear-paddle assignments.
This is the wired member of the V3 range. Check the USB data connection before troubleshooting browser detection.
Treat this as the PC-specific model. Browser sample timing cannot validate the advertised polling rate.
Select PC mode for Windows. An Xbox-style XInput identity is expected and does not mean the wrong controller was detected.
Legacy family reference: check the model-specific support manual for its PC connection and driver requirements.
Select PC mode for a Windows test. Record the saved profile and do not infer PS5 haptic support from browser rumble.
Use its wired USB connection. Note the Revolution X profile and any modified stick or trigger response curves.
Xbox and PC family: follow this exact model’s connection instructions and record the active profile.
Legacy PS4/PC model: switch to PC mode for PC play after configuring profiles in the companion app.
Record the paddle profile. Browser input testing does not test adaptive-trigger resistance.
Instant triggers differ from long-travel analog triggers. A short on/off response may be intentional.
An Xbox-family reference: compare paddle assignments and trigger settings with the active controller profile.
PC family: record driver/software setup and hardware or software profile before checking rear or side assignments.
Check the wired or wireless edition and its current manual. Record instant-trigger and paddle configuration.
PlayStation-family reference: use its own manual and connection guidance rather than assuming Reflex setup is identical.
Newer PC-family reference. Check availability and the exact edition with SCUF; this tool cannot verify an 8K polling specification.
Record the Ultimate Software V2 profile and zero-deadzone setting before comparing stick measurements.
Use the exact platform connection documented for Pro 3. Record trigger mode and the physically fitted ABXY button layout.
Windows uses USB or the 2.4 GHz receiver; Bluetooth is documented for Android. Extra bumper assignments can mirror existing inputs.
Original model: PC XInput is documented through USB or the included receiver. Do not assume Bluetooth exposes the same mode.
Check its X/D input-mode switch and keep that setting consistent across test sessions.
Choose the appropriate platform mode. Rear P1/P2 assignments may mirror existing buttons.
Distinguish PC wireless use from the supported Xbox connection. Record trigger-stop and software profile settings.
Check the wired USB data connection and active Nexus settings before measuring resting-stick movement.
Check cable seating and profile settings. Treat this as a distinct model from G7 SE when following setup instructions.
Use the correct wired model and configuration instructions. Note remapped rear buttons before testing them.
Select the correct PC connection and profile. Record whether motion or trigger mode changes the exposed values.
Use the exact model’s supported connection mode; Nova-family products do not share every platform feature.
Check hair-trigger and turbo settings if a trigger jumps or a button repeats. GameSir support also uses the Nova 2 Lite name.
PC mode uses XInput and disables touchpad/headset features. Check the PS5/PS4/PC switch.
Use the Xbox edition’s manual, not the PlayStation switch instructions. Record your module arrangement.
Check platform mode, USB or receiver connection, fitted modules and Control Hub profile.
Use the Xbox edition’s supported PC connection. Note trigger and deadzone adjustments.
Keyboard/mouse rear assignments may not generate extra gamepad button events. Record the chosen assignment.
Wired Xbox/PC model. Note the paddle arrangement, trigger stops and gate fitted during the test.
For Windows, start with USB or the 2.4 GHz receiver. SteelSeries GG does not support this model.
Windows support is specified over wired USB. Bluetooth support for Android/Chromebook is a separate connection path.
Legacy model: Steam Input may output mouse/keyboard or virtual gamepad actions. A trackpad is not automatically a second analog stick.
Manufacturer reference for Valve’s newer two-stick design. Check official availability; inclusion does not imply hands-on testing or stock.
Wired Xbox/PC family. Record Gamer HQ settings and rear-button assignments.
PC/Cloud family using PowerA PC HQ. Verify the chosen wired or wireless mode in its manual.
Use wired USB for Xbox/Windows. Audio controls are outside the browser gamepad test.
Record the controller profile and rear assignments before comparing stick and trigger readings.
Record stick gate-shape and response settings; these can change the outline observed in a range test.

Fightpad layout: inspect actual button/axis responses rather than expecting two physical sticks.
Check analog/digital trigger-switch positions before judging whether intermediate trigger values should appear.
Use its supported PC mode and document configuration settings before comparing browser readings.
Wired USB with XInput/DirectInput selection. Record the X/D switch position.
Use the wireless USB receiver, not Bluetooth. Check power and the X/D input-mode switch.

This directory provides connection guidance and testing notes. Inclusion is not a claim that every model, operating system, browser or advanced feature has been physically tested. Start with the manufacturer-supported PC connection, press a controller button, then check the browser-reported device and mapping.
You can still use the online controller tester. The tool reads the browser’s Gamepad API; it does not restrict testing to this directory. A standard mapping enables named stick and trigger diagnostics. Other devices can expose raw button and axis values.
Rear controls often mirror a face button, trigger, keyboard key or mouse action. They may not create additional gamepad indices. Trackpad gestures, motion sensors, audio, lighting and adaptive-trigger resistance are separate features. Select the exact model’s guide before interpreting a missing reading.
For a newly connected controller, run the guided checkup. For unexpected movement, use the stick drift test and record the active profile. If no gamepad appears, work through connection troubleshooting.
