Connect your Victrix / PDP controller

Start by identifying the platform edition. The original PlayStation Pro BFG has PS5, PS4 and PC modes; the Xbox version uses different mode instructions. Reloaded also has distinct PlayStation, Xbox and PC editions.

Select a supported wired USB connection or the supplied wireless transmitter. Record the fitted stick/button modules and trigger stops before testing, because a fightpad arrangement differs from a conventional two-stick layout.

    1. Confirm the controller’s platform mode and supported connection. Use a USB data cable or the receiver specified for that exact model.
    2. Focus this page, press a face button and choose the responding device from the connected-controller menu.
    3. Press and release each control. Check raw indices if the device has no standard mapping.
    4. Record your connection, software profile and trigger-stop setting before saving a snapshot.

    MODEL NOTES

    Choose your Victrix / PDP

    Victrix / PDP

    Pro BFG — PlayStation

PC mode uses XInput and disables touchpad/headset features. Check the PS5/PS4/PC switch.

    Victrix / PDP

    Pro BFG — Xbox

Use the Xbox edition’s manual, not the PlayStation switch instructions. Record your module arrangement.

    Victrix / PDP

    Pro BFG Reloaded — PlayStation

Check platform mode, USB or receiver connection, fitted modules and Control Hub profile.

    Victrix / PDP

    Pro BFG Reloaded — Xbox

Use the Xbox edition’s supported PC connection. Note trigger and deadzone adjustments.

    Victrix / PDP

Pro BFG Reloaded — PC Edition

Keyboard/mouse rear assignments may not generate extra gamepad button events. Record the chosen assignment.

    Victrix / PDP

    Gambit Prime

Wired Xbox/PC model. Note the paddle arrangement, trigger stops and gate fitted during the test.

When a missing control is a mode limitation

On the original PlayStation Pro BFG, PC mode uses XInput and does not provide the touchpad or headset audio. A missing touchpad reading in that mode is therefore not evidence of a broken touchpad.

The Reloaded PC Edition allows rear assignments to gamepad, keyboard or mouse actions. A keyboard or mouse assignment may produce no additional gamepad button event. This is an interpretation of the assignment, not a diagnosis of the control.

Control Hub settings can affect remapping, deadzones and trigger behaviour. Save the profile name with each test. A different stick module, gate or trigger-stop position can explain a changed trace or travel range.

Turn a reading into a useful comparison

Check one variable at a time. For unwanted stick movement, release the sticks onto a stable surface and run the ten-second resting test. For a missing action, compare a direct button press with its rear-button assignment. Save a note identifying the active profile so a later result can be reproduced.

The browser-reported device name can describe a virtual gamepad. The optional model reference is your selection, not automatic hardware identification. Brand listing does not guarantee vibration, independent paddles or vendor-specific controls in your browser.
