F310
Wired USB with XInput/DirectInput selection. Record the X/D switch position.
CONNECTION & TESTING GUIDE
Check Logitech F310 and F710 inputs and understand how their XInput/DirectInput switch changes gamepad mapping.
Connect with USB or Bluetooth, focus this page and press a controller button.
Choose a model for setup notes. This does not change your inputs or identify hardware automatically.
Layout illustration only. The button grid shows the actual inputs received.
This describes the input exposed by your browser. Firmware and remapping software can already apply deadzones. These readings do not certify hardware condition.
Indices are shown as reported by the browser. Unknown layouts are not assigned stick or trigger names.
Waiting for controller input.
Connect a controller to begin.
Saved only when you choose, in this browser. Compare readings taken under the same conditions.
F310 uses a wired USB connection. F710 uses its wireless USB receiver; it is not a Bluetooth gamepad. Check the receiver when troubleshooting a missing F710.
Both families provide XInput and DirectInput modes. Use the mode appropriate for your application, and note the switch position before comparing results.
MODEL NOTES
Wired USB with XInput/DirectInput selection. Record the X/D switch position.
Use the wireless USB receiver, not Bluetooth. Check power and the X/D input-mode switch.
A controller can be detected while exposing non-standard button or axis indices. In that case, open raw readings and check which values change. The tester deliberately avoids inventing a stick layout.
Changing X/D mode can change the mapping or device identity. Start a new session after switching modes and compare only recordings with the intended configuration.
For a wireless F710, confirm receiver connection and controller power before investigating browser settings. For either model, test a face button first, then check the direction controls and triggers separately.
Check one variable at a time. For unwanted stick movement, release the sticks onto a stable surface and run the ten-second resting test. For a missing action, compare a direct button press with its rear-button assignment. Save a note identifying the active profile so a later result can be reproduced.
The browser-reported device name can describe a virtual gamepad. The optional model reference is your selection, not automatic hardware identification. Brand listing does not guarantee vibration, independent paddles or vendor-specific controls in your browser.
